Do you want to watch TV in another room from where your Freeview box or Sky receiver is located? Without the need to run cables, share sound and images from any audio/video source (e.g. Satellite receiver, Freeview box, Cable box, DVD player, Camcorder) onto a TV, Monitor or Hi-Fi located in the same or a different room.
The Rimax 5.8GHz Audio Video Sender & Receiver utilises leading-edge wireless communications technology enabling it to send clear, stable audio/video signals from one location in the home or office to a remote location at a distance of up to 100 meters through walls, floors, and ceilings.
Simply plug the transmitter into a SCART output on the source device and the receiver into a SCART socket of the TV you wish to receive the signal on. The audio and video will then be transmitted from the source device to the second TV wirelessly. For maximum convenience, the unit also relays signals from your remote control back to the source so you can use your remote to change channels from the other room.
This product can also send high resolution DVD-ROM images wirelessly to your TV (requires a VGA-to-TV converter) allowing you to enjoy high quality audio and video on your big screen TV. The flexibility and convenience of the product is limited only by your imagination! The new 5.8GHz standard of transmission eliminates interference from other household products like cordless phones and wireless internet.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Q. Is it possible to watch two different TV channels on two different sets? Yes it is. On your main TV you can watch a terrestrial channel through your normal aerial. If you have a Freeview/Sky/Cable box, this can be connected to the Audio Video Sender and the signal from this can be sent to a second TV. Therefore it is possible to watch two channels at the same time, one via your normal aerial and the other via your set-top box.
Q. I have a satellite receiver in the main room of my house and I want to send the signal from this to a TV in the kitchen and another in the bedroom. Is this possible with the Rimax Audio Video Sender? Yes it is. The signal will be picked up by as many receivers you have in range. The Audio Video Sender comes with one receiver only so you will need to purchase additional set if you want the signal sent to more than one TV.
Q. I don't have cable or satellite TV but just receive the standard TV channels via an antenna on my roof (not Freeview). Will the Audio Video Sender still work in my house? No, you need to have a Satellite receiver, Freeview or Cable box to use the Audio Video Sender.
Q. I have a Freeview box. Will the Audio Video Sender work with this? Yes it will. It works with all Freeview boxes.
Q. I have installed the Audio Video Sender but I can't get either picture or sound. What is wrong?br> Check that you have the correct leads in the transmitter and receiver. They are different and are labelled. |
